Derek Sandheinrich, General Partner of Fund Management at Castler Capital

Derek Sandheinrich

Derek Sandheinrich joined the Castler leadership team in 2023. Nearly a two-decade financial industry veteran, Derek started his career in commercial and residential mortgages in 2005.

He later transitioned to focus on decentralized markets, joining Boston Technologies the firm that launched the first MT4 liquidity bridge, integrating the most popular retail FX trading platform (MT4) with more than 20 of the world's largest investment banks, ECNs, and market makers. Among Derek's first clients were dbFX (a Deutsche Bank company), CitiFX, MF Global, ODL Securities, and the world's biggest brokerage at the time, FXCM. When the firm's management decided to launch a UK FCA regulated entity (Boston Prime Ltd), Derek relocated to London to establish their regulated eFX product.

In 2015, Derek founded Lancaster, a European FinTech solutions provider focused on deploying intelligent technology designed to provide brokerages and hedge funds more visibility and control over their businesses.

Luis Rios

An American real estate developer, Luis Rios is known for building luxury estates, primarily in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California.

Having almost two decades of real estate acquisition experience, Mr. Rios transitioned from a career at Sperry Van Ness to pursue his lifelong passion for development.

With a track record of success within the luxury real estate arena, his most important asset may be his ability to see the potential of a real estate asset as simple as a vacant lot on a colossal scale.

Castler Acquisitions handles projects from end to end, often acquiring land for development. Luis is responsible for analyzing and financing projects and bringing in a team of associates to execute his strategic vision.
